GUIDE ON UAE RESIDENT VISA
If you are not INSIDE THE COUNTRY on a tourist/visit visa or your previous resident visa has been cancelled
Apply for resident ENTRY PERMIT
Submit:
* Completed application form
* Passport copy
* Passport size photo
* Copy of your tourist/visit visa or cancellation document (latter, if you had a resident visa before)
* Company’s license copy and share certificate
* Company’s establishment card
* Completed application form

Step 1
ENTRY PERMIT is issued
Entry permit is issued either as an e-copy or as hard copy.
Step 2
Proceed with VISA STATUS CHANGE
Submit:
* Original passport
* Original entry permit
* Copy of a tourist/visit visa or a copy of a cancellation document
* Original passport
* Original entry permit
* Copy of a tourist/visit visa or a copy of a cancellation document
Step 3
Proceed with MEDICAL TEST & ID CARD
Complete a medical test (blood test and chest X-ray) and submit finger prints. To obtain medical certificate/results in 1 day, a VIP medical test shall be opted for.
Step 4
Arrange for MEDICAL INSURANCE
If your company is registered in the free zone in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. It will be mandatory for you to apply for a medical insurance.
Step 5
Submit docs for RESIDENT VISA STAMPING
Submit:

* Original status change document
* Medical fitness certificate
* ID card application form
* Passport size photos
* Original passport

Congratulations! Resident Visa is stamped!
